Moments of Grace is an audio project about small connections that have a big impact.
Hi, I’m Zita. I am a performer and a theatre-maker based in Co.Wicklow. After a brief interaction with a stranger in a supermarket queue in Dublin City on New Year’s Eve 2020 I became very interested in how small moments can have a profound impact on the way we feel about ourselves and the world. I reached out to friends and colleagues asking them about small moments of kindness in their own lives and so this project began. As I was collecting these stories I was amazed at how impactful seemingly tiny moments of kindness can be and how they stay with us over time. I then asked musicians to respond musically to a story that I had recorded to find another way of accessing what was occurring within these tiny happenings.
This is a work in progress development exploring how these experiences can shift our internal narrative momentarily and how this can impact the stories that we tell ourselves, about ourselves and about the world we live in.
